General Terms and Conditions – Tanktech BV

1. General

1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all services and products offered by Tanktech BV.
1.2 By using our services or website, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
1.3 Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.

2. Services and Delivery

2.1 Tanktech BV provides specialized services such as ship tank calibration, 3D scanning and digital twinning.
2.2 All services are performed to the highest industry standards and using state-of-the-art equipment.
2.3 Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on external factors. Delays do not entitle you to compensation.

3. Quotes and Payment

3.1 Quotations are without obligation and valid for 30 days, unless stated otherwise.
3.2 All prices are exclusive of VAT and other levies unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3.3 Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 In the event of late payment, Tanktech BV reserves the right to charge interest and collection costs.

4. Cancellation and Changes

4.1 Cancellation of an order must be made in writing.
4.2 In case of cancellation within 7 days before the planned execution, a fee of 50% of the agreed price may be charged.
4.3 Changes to the order may lead to an adjusted quotation and planning.

5. Liability

5.1 Tanktech BV is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profit through the use of our services.
5.2 The liability of Tanktech BV is limited to the invoice amount of the service provided.
5.3 Tanktech BV guarantees the accuracy of measurements, but is not responsible for incorrect interpretation or incorrect use of the data supplied.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All reports, 3D scans, calibration documents and other information supplied remain the property of Tanktech BV until full payment has been received.
6.2 It is not permitted to reproduce, publish or transfer our measurement data, reports or other documentation to third parties without the written permission of Tanktech BV.

7. Confidentiality

7.1 Both parties undertake to maintain confidentiality of confidential information shared in the context of the agreement.
7.2 Tanktech BV may use references to completed projects for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes or technical failures, Tanktech BV has the right to suspend or cancel the execution of the agreement without being liable for damages.

9. Applicable Law and Disputes

9.1 All agreements with Tanktech BV are governed by Dutch law.
9.2 Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual agreement. If this does not work, the dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
