What do we do?

Tanktech BV, based in Maasbracht, specializes in 3D scanning and modelling, primarily of vessels and shipbuilding-related structures. In addition, Tanktech BV is accredited for the calibration of cargo tanks on tank vessels.

Who are we looking for?

A motivated MBO or HBO graduate or student in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture, with:

• Affinity with shipbuilding

• Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino and Inventor (preferred)

• Interest in 3D scanning, modelling and technical analyses

What will you do?

• Perform 3D laser scans on board (tank) vessels, including cargo tanks, engine rooms and hull damage

• Process scan data in AutoCAD, Rhino and Inventor into 3D models and shipyard-ready working drawings

• Depending on your education and experience, carry out naval architectural calculations and FEM analyses
