Reconstruction of damaged hull

In April 2025, a serious collision occurred between a passenger vessel and a cargo ship. Fortunately, no injuries were reported; however, the damage to the passenger vessel was extensive.

Commissioned by Scheepsreparatiebedrijf De Gerlien-Van Tiem BV in Druten, we carried out a 3D scan of the damaged bow section.

Using the undamaged starboard side as a reference, we reconstructed the port side in detail. Based on the resulting 3D model, the required structural and workshop drawings were produced, including cutting data and bending templates.

This approach enabled the repair work to be completed within a short timeframe.
