Accurate 3D Scan Prevents Surprises During Filter Replacement

We recently scanned a complete sludge treatment installation for a client in the waste processing industry. The reason: three large filters need to be replaced. To ensure that no unexpected clashes would occur during installation — with the existing structure or pipework — Tanktech was brought in.

Our specialists scanned the entire facility, including all floors, using high-precision 3D laser scanning. Based on the resulting point clouds, we created a detailed 3D model of the existing situation. This digital model provides the client with clear insight into the available space and any potential clashes.

Thanks to this approach, the new filters can be installed with confidence and precision — without delays or unforeseen obstacles.
